Tax Warrants

When a past due liability exists, the Department of Revenue will forward the warrant to the County Sheriff and the individual will receive notification from the Sheriff indicating the amount owed on the liability.

Disputing the Amount

If you wish to dispute the amount owed, please contact the Indiana Department of Revenue directly in Indianapolis at (317) 232-2165, or the South Bend District office located at 105 E. Jefferson Blvd. Ste. 350 South Bend, IN 46601  (574) 291-8270.

Otherwise, you may choose to pay in full or call our office to set up a payment plan. You are responsible for remembering your payment every month.

Making a Payment

We do NOT accept electronic payments (Paypal, Venmo, etc.), cryptocurrency, personal checks, or business checks.

Money Order or EXACT cash payments may be made at our office Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm (except holidays)
